I've heard that Infosys has a very stringent training program and the pressure put on an individual (tests, assignments etc) is off the roof. Is this true?
Its indeed one of the toughest training program I have heard of In IT companies. Freshers are given two options
1) Fast track training which is for 2 months - Its much more stringent
2) Normal pace training which is for 4 months - Its relatively easier to manage.
Good part is that thought training is stringent but at the end of it you feel you have learnt the stuff which would have taken 1 year otherwise. They basically teach you all the major languages and its only after the training that your department is decided
Our company(GIS) always keen to say,'this industry is different! It cant loosen its employee benefits by far.' And throw away nominal 13kINR/m even for 8yr experienced. Any comments from people around?

You can always opt for 4 months training as its very much manageable.

you'll pass - since most people in the batch cheat off each other's papers during tests, no one fails.
