Work culture is very good

[ For Birlasoft ] Posted August 2nd, 2008 by Sikander [system analyst] in

Work Culture:
Work culture is very good and each individual makes a difference.
Position Title:
system analyst
Salary Benefits:
Not so good and you have to work hard to earn your salary
Job Security:
No job security, you are there till the projects are there
Career Growth:
A1 to A3 is easy but after that it looks too hard to get
Manager:
Its mix of all kind of creatures
Overall Comments:
Its a very good company to learn and make the base at beginners level but not good for experienced guys (>3 years)

Birlasoft review

[ For Birlasoft ] Posted August 1st, 2008 by RohitS [Software Engineer] in

Work Culture:
Work Culture used to be good, but it has degraded a lot because of managers making their own coterie of non performing assets(resource). People who work are not recognized. People get Star Birlasoft for doing private chores of their managers.
Position Title:
Software Engineer
Salary Benefits:
Freshers are exploited. The company tries to sell all services to the employee. Medical insurance is sold by the company. CFO and other managers stand by food vendors keeping aside the interest of its employees.
Job Security:
Job security is only until the projects are running. The moment a project is closed. They ask employees to leave. Nothing like bench. BUT then its a private company.
Career Growth:
Growing till A3 is easy. BUT then moving from A3 to higher band is simply impossible. The managers only promote people who are part of their coterie. You need to be a relative of managers or work for their personal chores to be promoted beyond. Performance has no say in this.
Manager:
They are destroying a superb company with great infrastructure. They are absolute non performers and burden to the company. You change them and company changes.
Overall Comments:
I would not recommend much.

Take a break with paid leaves

[ For Birlasoft ] Posted February 13th, 2008 by sheikh in

Salary Benefits:
One of the Benefits I really appreciate at Birlasoft is 10 days paid leave in a year. The compulsory leave lets the employee take a break and come back refreshed for work.
