Work Culture:
The people are good but the energy levels are pretty low. There is a need to get involved in more experimentation
Salary Benefits:
It is above the average industries. It becomes better over time as they have a loyalty attached bonus plan (LTPI) provided you last that long.
Job Security:
At average levels, it is secure enough. For pure technical people wanting to remain in the pure technical side, it gets a little dicey (in India) as there are not enough challenging options.
Career Growth:
Gets stunted in the pure technical path (in India) due to now owning/creating new products. For the remaining majority, the visibility they have with the management based on noise (and some work) can take them far.
Manager:
Generally quite good. The middle and the layer above do not have much of autonomy to display their managerial skills. Appears too hierarchical with multiple rungs in the ladder.
Overall Comments:
For a normal IT professional wanting a decent pay with limited technical challenges and a constant (close to) workload pattern, this is a good place. If you want some technical challenges to stimulate your gray matter, think twice.
